Gartner Research expects expenditure to double in spite of COVID-19

The website telecoms.com reports on research from Gartner on investment in wireless infrastructure. The report indicates that service providers are prioritising spend on 5G; investment in the technology is expected to reach $8.1 billion globally – almost double that of 2019 –as a result of governments and regulators fostering the development, as well as greater competition.
