The IIC is delighted to be back in Kuala Lumpur for our annual Asia Forum. A lot has happened since our last meeting there in 2019, and we are looking forward to another excellent set of discussions, updates and sharing of ideas.
As always, we will start with the Regional Regulators Roundtable which will be co-hosted with the MCMC. On the afternoon of Monday 5th February regulatory leaders from the region and further afield will have the opportunity to share best practice in an invitation-only, roundtable format. We are particularly pleased to offer our regulatory attendees a tour of Axiata’s CyberFusion Center which will be on the morning of 5th February.
The Asia Forum will follow on 6th-7th February. Regulators will be joined by industry, policy makers and civil society to discuss the IIC’s core themes, with a regional emphasis:
• Digital transformation
• Investment, innovation and competition
• Infrastructure and connectivity
• Digital content, platforms and on-demand services
• Privacy, safety, security
