The author shares their personal experience of witnessing the devastating effects of climate change in Australia and reflects on the urgency of taking action. The essay discusses how the communications industry can contribute to reducing its own environmental impact and enhancing the green transition across other sectors and domains. The document also examines the policy implications and the mechanisms that are needed to support a successful twin transition for a future sustainable society.
