IIC Australian Chapter event wrap-up

The IIC Australian Chapter held an event focusing on Australia’s New Consumer Data Right on the 20th November 2018. Held concurrently in Melbourne and Sydney, the event provided insights into ‘data portability’ in the banking and telco sectors, a regulator perspective on Australia’s pathway to an economy of data sharing, plus a video interview with Dr Bill Roberts, Head of Open Banking at the UK Competition and Markets Authority The event was hosted by Angela Flannery from Holding Redlich and speakers included Bruce Cooper (Australian Consumer and Competition Commission), Pip Freebairn (Australian Banking Association) and Luke van Hooft (Optus).
