‘No app’ contact tracing tool announced

Apple and Google have announced that the latest version of their contact tracing technology will be integrated into their smartphone’s operating system, reports the Financial Times. Although contact tracing apps have been available for some months, concerns over privacy and the need to download an app has meant that the technology has struggled to have an impact.
